UPDATE: May 2020 Confirmation
Dear Confirmation Families,
What a journey this has been! I am SO grateful for the Holy Spirit guiding us through this unusual time!
Good news: After receiving updated information about Confirmation from the Bishop last week, we have two dates scheduled for Confirmation! Wednesday, July 29th at 6:00p.m. with our current pastor Father Mike Ingold and Sunday, October 11th at 10:15a.m. with our new pastor Father Matt Simonar.
News that requires work: July 29th is coming up REALLY quick and there is a lot to do! Though we are most fortunate that we were able to complete our Confirmation retreat prior to the safer-at-home orders and the majority of our additional prep for the 2019-20 Confirmation year has been waived as we work through getting all of our sacraments caught up, there is still quite a bit of paperwork and reflection that needs to happen.
I need 3 things from families:
Please let me know which date you plan to celebrate your child’s sacrament ASAP.
Below you will find all of the paperwork that needs to be completed in one packet. Please fill this out and return it to me by July 15th if you plan to celebrate Confirmation on July 29th. I’ve attached a word document and a PDF. Email (amberlyb@nativitydisciples.org), scan, drop off a paper copy, just get it to me. If you decide to wait until the October date, please have paperwork submitted to me no later than September 15th.
We will need to have your students join me for a virtual session to cover the final preparation and rehearsal of the sacrament. Please let me know which session your student will be attending. These will be conducted on Zoom and for students preparing for the July 29th date, here are the three sessions available (CHOOSE ONE):

Also, please note, because of the short time, the other tasks that need to be completed before the Fall and the fact that we do not currently have a Director, one of our Confirmation parents, Jennie Vyskocil, will be assisting me during this time to make sure all your requirements are complete.
