Faith Formation Class Details
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Faith Formation Program at Nativity of Our Lord Parish!
Our program is designed to inspire and guide our children in their exploration of the Catholic faith, fostering a sense of community, knowledge, and commitment to living out the Gospel.
At Nativity, we believe that that the family unit is the primary environment where faith is nurtured, and we seek to complement and enhance the efforts of parents through our program. Our dedicated team of Catechists are passionate about creating an engaging and supportive environment where children can grow in their understanding of Catholic teachings and traditions.
For children and teens, we provide age-appropriate and interactive classes that aim to instill a solid foundation of faith, moral values, and a sense of community. Our curriculum is designed to make learning about the Catholic faith enjoyable and meaningful, with a focus on fostering a personal relationship with God.
Each week during the school year, registered families will receive an emailed newsletter from the Faith Formation Office. Our newsletter is designed to keep you engaged and connected to the happenings in our Faith Formation Program. Along with what we are working on in class, our newsletter will always let you know of any important dates or changes to our calendar. (If at any time you are not receiving our newsletter, or you change your email address, please call and let us know.)
Join the heart of our Faith Formation Program! We are actively seeking passionate individuals to serve as Catechists and Substitute Catechists for grades 1-11, and we invite you to become an integral part of our community. Your commitment is essential to the success of our program, and the rewards of being a catechist are immeasurable. You don’t need to be an expert; all you need is a willingness to share your faith with our students. Lesson plans, resources and support will be provided to ensure you feel confident and equipped for this important role. (And here's an extra incentive: Tuition is waived for the children of our dedicated Catechists!) We encourage you to prayerfully consider becoming a catechist for a small group of 8-12 students.

Our Class Times:
Faith Formation classes are held on Wednesday evenings.
Grades 1-6 5:30-6:30pm
Grades 7-11 6:45-8:00pm
